Organic cotton scrunchies sewn from waste fabric leftover from the production of our base layers. We are so excited to offer this non-profit product. As we've settled into our home here outside of Portland, Oregon, we recognize (and are drawn to filling) local needs and supporting the small charitable organizations in our very own neighborhood. The proceeds for this product will be donated to various organizations including our local shelter for victims of domestic abuse, a local relief nursery that provides needed services to at-risk families, and several other essential community organizations dedicated to advocacy, safety, and protecting our environment.
Refugee Care Collective is a local, Portland-based group that helps refugees from all over the world resettle safely and sustainably in the greater Portland Metro Area. Through the help of thousands of volunteers and partners, they've developed "restart kits" which consist of necessities for home and work, and relational mentorship programs to empower refugees to rebuild their lives. Refugee Care Collective is currently helping families arriving from Afghanistan resettle safely in Portland, OR.
